Informativa privacy

Ultimo aggiornamento: 27 ottobre 2026 · English version below

1. Titolare del trattamento

HomeOK (midi81) — contatto: midi81@proton.me

Servono a riconoscerti e a ritrovare i tuoi dati su ogni dispositivo.

4. A chi vengono comunicati

7. I tuoi diritti

Privacy policy

Last updated: 27 October 2026

This policy explains what data the HomeOK app (Android and iPhone) processes, why, and how you control it. HomeOK shows no ads, sells no data and uses no tracking tools. The website only counts visits anonymously (see section 2).

1. Controller

HomeOK (midi81) — contact: midi81@proton.me

2. What data and why

AccountYour Google or Apple account identifier, email and name as provided at first sign-in, to recognise you on every device. We never receive your Google or Apple password. If you sign in with a username and password, we store only an encrypted fingerprint of the password, never the password itself.
Profile and homeYour name, the home's name and, if you enter it, the address.
ExpensesAmount, date, shop, category, notes and, optionally, the child the expense is for.
DeadlinesTitle, category, date, recurrence, expected cost, notes and reminder days.
Receipt photosRead on your phone with the system's text recognition: the photo is not sent to our servers. Only if you use the optional "Read better with artificial intelligence" button (when available) is the photo sent to our server and to Anthropic to read it; it is not stored or used for anything else.
RecipesIngredients, photo reading and matching stay on the phone. To apply the Free plan allowance, our server stores only the chosen recipe identifier, month and household identifier. Ingredients and photos are not sent for the recipe book. The household shares the choice and can reopen it in the same month; it is deleted when the entire household is deleted. Only if you use the optional "Invent a recipe" button (when available) are the selected ingredient names, number of people, time and language sent to our server and to Anthropic to create the recipe; the recipe is not stored. Our server only counts how many AI recipes were requested per day and per month, to apply the limits.
Google DriveIf you connect Drive, photos, PDFs and the expense sheet are saved in your own Google Drive, in a HomeOK folder. The app can only see files it creates ("drive.file" permission). Our servers keep only a reference to each file (name and link). Photos and PDFs stay private in your Drive: the app never shares them with anyone, not even your family, who only see the receipt details (date, shop, amount, category).
FamilyAdults who join with a family code share the details of expenses, deadlines and requests with the whole family (not photos, which stay with whoever took them), and the owner sees their names. For each child: the name chosen by the parent. No email, phone number or date of birth. The child's requests: what they wish for, price, optional link, reason and priority, and the parent's answers.
SubscriptionPurchases are made with Google Play: Google handles payment details and we never see them. RevenueCat manages purchases on our behalf and tells us, linked to your HomeOK account identifier, only the product bought, renewal and expiry dates, cancellations and refunds.
Bitcoin paymentIf you buy on the website with bitcoin, the payment goes through BTCPay Server straight to our wallet: we don't ask for your name or email. We keep only the invoice (amount, date, status) and the code you receive.
NotificationsThe phone's push token and language, to deliver request notifications. Deadline reminders are scheduled on the phone itself.
Website visitsThe website (casaok.vercel.app) counts visits with Vercel Web Analytics, without cookies or personal data: only aggregate figures such as page views, country, device type and referring site. The installed phone app is not counted.

Legal basis: performance of the service you requested (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Optional features (Drive, AI reading, notifications) are used only if you turn them on. Purchase records are also kept for tax obligations.

3. Children

Children's accounts are created by a parent, who is responsible for them and gives consent. A child signs in with a single-use code from the parent and sees only their own requests and wish lists: not expenses, deadlines or Drive files. The parent can remove a child at any time, deleting their requests.

What we collect from a child: the name chosen by the parent, their requests (what they wish for, price, optional link, reason, priority), their phone's notification token and the app language. Nothing else: no email, phone number, date of birth, location, photos, microphone or contacts. HomeOK shows no ads, does not use the advertising ID (AAID) or other device identifiers (IMEI, serial number, MAC), and the children's part has no purchases. A child only communicates with the adults of their own family, never with strangers. Children's data is never sold or used for anything other than running the app.

4. Who receives data

Only the providers we need to run the app: Render (app server), MongoDB Atlas (database), Google (sign-in, Drive if you choose, Android notifications), Apple (sign-in, iPhone notifications), Expo (notification delivery), Google Play (payments), RevenueCat (subscription management), Anthropic (optional AI receipt reading and recipes only) and Vercel (this website, including anonymous visit counts). Some may process data outside the EU under GDPR safeguards (standard contractual clauses or adequacy decisions).

5. Retention

For as long as you use the account. You can delete it at any time from the Profile (or ask without the app: see how): your profile, expenses, deadlines and, if you are the only parent, the whole family with the children's requests are deleted from our servers. Files in your Google Drive remain yours.

6. Security

Connections are encrypted (HTTPS). Sessions are signed and expire; children's codes are single-use and valid for 7 days, and a new code disconnects the previous phone.

7. Your rights

You can request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or object to processing by writing to midi81@proton.me. You can also lodge a complaint with your data protection authority.
